| Description: | Mr Chan Ning, a chemistry student from Hong Kong, recently won a 21 inch television set as first prize in a fund-raising campaign for the building appeal of Swinburne Technical College, Melbourne. More than 3,000 students and friends packed the Town Hall of Hawthorn, to watch the ceremony, when Mrs Casey, wife of the Australian Minister for External Affairs, Mr R G Casey, presented the prizes. Smiling Chan Ning receives the television set from Mrs Casey. |
